About Jill:
* Elected November 2007 to the Agawam City Council. Jill is Chairman of the Zoning Review Sub-Committee, and serves on the Industrial Relations, CPA and Master Plan Sub-Committees.
*
Jill is a 20 year resident of the area, and has lived in Agawam since
1996.
* She earned a Bachelors Degree from Dickinson
College, in Carlisle, PA.
* She and her husband have been married for
24 years. They have two girls, both
attended Agawam High School. One has gone on to a four year college.
* Jill worked in the residential mortgage industry for many years
in various management
positions, culminating in a position as residential
mortgage officer in charge of lending at a
local bank. She left
that position to spend more time with her children.
* Jill is a veteran volunteer! Some of her activities are:
* Agawam Conservation Commission, November, 2005 to
present. Jill recently completed 8 units of education and became a MACC Certified Conservation Commissioner
* Co-wrote the School Street Barn Study group report.
* Member of Agawam Rotary Club.
* Key organizer of Earth Day, April, 2009
* Co-Chair Agawam Go Green Committee, which sponsored two well-attended educational seminars about energy saving for homeowners.
